Richard Oblitey Commey professional boxer from Ghana, he is currently active hold contract deal with boxing promotion. In 2011, made professional career debut against Baba Nsor. After winning back to back 10 fights, Commey earned his first career title fight against Korley Collison. He defeat Korley Collison, in the 6th round of the match to claim Ghanaian lightweight title. Commey dominate some of the top boxers in lightweight category (Gary Buckland, Isa Chaniev, Ray Beltrán). In 2019, Commey become the new IBF lightweight champion after defeating Isa Chaniev and in same year defend it against Ray Beltrán successfully. Teófimo López ended his title streak in December 2019, in the 2nd round on knockout results. Richard Commey later return to the boxing ring after 1 year wait and defeat Jackson Marinez in 6th round of the fight.
